What is Chai?

Chai is the Hindi word for "tea", originating from the Chinese word "cha". However, when people refer to "chai" in a global context, they usually mean masala chai, a traditional Indian spiced tea.

Masala chai is made by brewing black tea leaves (like Assam) with a combination of aromatic spices, milk, and sweetener. The flavor profile is rich, bold, and fragrant.

At Filter, we craft our signature chai blend in-house a.k.a. Bombay Blends, sourcing the finest ingredients directly from trusted farms. Our chai features robust Assam tea, aromatic Guatemalan cardamom, fragrant Indian cinnamon, and zesty British ginger, ensuring a rich and perfectly balanced flavor in every sip.
